Cedar Point? Hmmm..

Got back from Cedar Point last night... Turns out i'm not the thrill seeking daredevil I thought I was. I'm just getting too old for this. My back hurts all the time, I get headaches on even the smallest of rollercoasters... I'm nothing but a huge mess. (Said sarcastically of course). I don't understand how people can ride all day. I needed a break! All the whipping of the neck and body, the waiting in line (bad for me...I'm extremely impatient and severly dislike dealing with people I dont know), And of course, The vomit. I myself haven't felt that bad, but I hate seeing what everyone else ate this morning. That just strikes pure disgust inside of me. My 8 year old sister Corinne was brought with us and she said that she wanted to ride every ride and can't wait. But when we got there, She changed her whole mindset and instead said, "I'm not riding anything with a hill"... Seriously??? Caution///  DO NOT WEAR FLAT SOLED SHOES TO AN AMUSEMENT PARK. Bad decision.

I did Ride This though. 301 feet of spinnin fun!

This ride was meant for "Thrill". Its actually not as daunting as it seems.
I even recorded almost all of the expereience on my phone!

I Love Lucy so frickin much!

I Love Lucy!                                                 What's NOT to love? Planet Earth celebrates the life of lucille Ball! Lucille (Better known as the fiesty and wisecracking red head "Lucy") Ball turns The big 100. I love lucy personally. Shes so uplifting and no one can resist cracking out even the smallest smile as soon as she opens her mouth. Thankfully the hallmark channel, as cheesy and mushy as much of their original movies may be, played like a forever long marathon of her famous sit-com "I LOVE LUCY" for her birthday. I mean, i'm not like an obsessed fan so I only really know of her work with this show, but seriously, Shes one funny chick. I thoroughly enjoy watching the show. All of the space on our DVR is full of recorded episodes which causes problems at this establishment known as home. But who cares? I can't Help that I LOVE LUCY!!!  Long Live Lucy'sLegend.

I Gotta Keep Up!

I know i said goodbye yesterday, but...

I know I said Goodbye Yesterday, but it seems that we all have a goodbye to say. Amy Winehouse... Found dead. What a sad story. She had loads of talent, a fantastic voice, and, A terrible life long fight with drugs and alchohol. Amy's addictions were no secret to the world when her hit song " Rehab" came out which basically summed up most of her issueSin life. She couldnt find the right love or Find another way to deal with the demons that haunted her. Amy along with Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin all died of this same fight with drugs and alchool. All at the young age of 27. R.I.P

Platforms...

Versace Platforms 2010
The ugly or "humble" platforms I had mentioned

Platform shoes had some humble beginnings. But, like most great things, they had to start somewhere... I'm not sure why I feel as though THIS is what im going to talk about this fine day but, I felt that it was important to show the world that platforms have changed. They used to be... well... Quite hideous if you ask me...But without a start, there would be no progression or change. Platforms originally started because the women of Japan in the 18th century had their expensive Kimonos... And dirt, mud, and ground. They created them so that the expensive and beautiful pieces of clothing would not become dirty or drag along the ground. Now, they are meant for a little thing called fashion. As the decades go on, Heels get higher, and Chiropractors become more expensive. So instead of making the foot bend until its almost at a 90 degree angle, Make the heel higher, but bring the ground with it. (If that makes any sense at all...) And even if you don't wear heels, or platforms for that matter, Its always fun to watch people fall in them.
